BACH FLOWER REMEDIES
THE HEALING POWER OF FLOWERS
“There are 38 remedies in the Bach remedy system. All of them were discovered in the 1920s and 1930s by Dr Edward Bach, a well-known bacteriologist, physician and pathologist.
Each remedy is associated with a basic human emotion. Mimulus, for example, is the remedy for when we are anxious or afraid about something specific. Taking the remedy helps us overcome our fear and face it with courage.
Dr Bach used a metaphor to describe how the remedies work. He said, ‘they are able, like beautiful music, or any gloriously uplifting thing which gives us inspiration, to raise our very natures, and bring us nearer to our Souls: and by that very act, to bring us peace, and relieve our sufferings.’ Just as a beautiful sunset or a photograph can move us so that we feel more at peace, so taking a remedy uplifts us in a gentle way and helps us be the best we are.
There are many theories about the mechanism the remedies use to achieve this. Most believe the active ingredient in the remedies is a kind of energy or vibration that is transferred from the living flower to the water during the process of making the mother tinctures. Some believe the energy forms a pattern in the water; others talk of quantum mechanics and spiritual vibrations.
The real proof that these flower energies exist, however, is the effect they have on people. Taking Mimulus when we are afraid is just a more specific form of the emotional reaction we feel when we listen to Beethoven or gaze up at the stars.” — Bach Centre

In House of Prajna, we have Satya who always believes that wisdom from Earth and wisdom from stars should meet in the middle. She enjoys walking in nature and being surrounded by flowers as much as skygazing and stargazing.
Her passion in flower and plant healing has brought her to Bach Flower Remedies.
With an intention to heal herself and others, Satya took Bach Centre-approved Level 1 course in Jakarta and continue to Level 2 course in Singapore, both in 2017. Since then Satya has been using the remedies regularly for herself and others, include her loved ones.
Although she has not attended yet Level 3 course that allows her to become Bach Flower Registered Practitioner (she will soon!), she wants to spread the goodness of the healing power of these 38 flower remedies to the wider audience. Therefore, she offers an assistance for those who need to restore balance within themselves through flower healing.

Satya uses tarot and oracle cards as tools to guide and heal others, in which meditation is incorporated to help her get centered and align with her higher self. Satya is also passionate about flower and plant healing with trainings in Bach Flower Remedies. She is the author of self-published book "Star and The Dust", a compendium of poetries exploring wisdom from earth and wisdom from stars and how to bridge both.
Satya loves mathematics and science, also esoteric and metaphysical things. She loves gazing upon the stars, also walking in a garden full of flowers. She loves working with numbers, also with words. Besides growing House of Prajna with her husband, Jati, she is currently pursuing her PhD in Operations Research at North Carolina State University in the USA. Satya believes that science and spirituality are a “twin flame”; to her, both of them speak the same thing with just different languages.
